Board

 Lee Winslow Murray and his wife Kathy (30 years as a middle school teacher) retired and moved for nine months of the year to Fernandina Beach in 2008. They still have a summer  cottage in Sherwood Forest, MD Lee had been President/Publisher/Editor of the Maryland/Washington D.C, Beverage Journal  (a trade magazine for the licensed alcohol beverage beverage industries in MD/DC for 35 years). He joined the Fernandina Beach Men's Golf Association in 2008, was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2009, and became Tournament Director in 2015,  He joined the Fernandina Beach Golf Course Advisory Board in 2017 and served as Secretary until 2020 and became Chairperson of the GCAB in 2020. He resigned his chairmanship of the GCAB in June 2022 when he was elected  President of the FRIENDS of the Fernandina Beach Golf Club, of which he was a leading founder. 

 Thomas "Ama" Corbett borna and raised in Fernandina Beach.  Retired as an accountant from West Rock in 2017.  Member of the Fernandina Beach Men's Golf Association for the last 10 years.  Board member of the Fernandina Beach Men's Golf Association for the last three years.. 

I was born and raised in Wisconsin. In 1968 graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. In June 1968 employed with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. From 1968-1985 located in multiple State and City public health departments managing infectious and chronic disease programs. During this time, I had two assignments with the World Health Organization- Global Smallpox Eradication Program, 1975 in Bangladesh and 1979 in Somalia. 
In 1985 assigned to the CDC Washington Office to coordinate CDC's official response to relevant legislation. From 1987-2001 Project Manager for national public health prevention and leadership development programs at CDC headquarters in Atlanta. After 33 years, I retired in 2001, and in 2020 relocated to Fernandina Beach.
Married my wife Laurie in 1987 and have 4 children. I have been a member of the Fernandina Beach Golf Club since August 2020, and playing regularly in the "Blitz."  I have also been participating in the Friends of FBGC since inception in April 2022.
